Nucrane RMG45ton-46m-15.5m（KAF250） Rail Mounted Container Gantry Crane (also known as portal cranes or gantry cranes) are heavy machinery used for loading and unloading containers at ports, docks and storage yards. Their metal structure is in the form of a "door" shape, and the legs are supported on ground tracks, facilitating efficient handling of containers.

Structure and Working Principle

‌Structure Composition‌: Mainly consists of the frame (including the main beam, end beam and outer suspension beam), outriggers, trolley running mechanism, lifting trolley and electrical system. Among them, the main beam spans the track, and the two sides' outriggers can be equipped with tires or fixed tracks to achieve flexible movement.

‌Working Principle‌: Through the trolley sliding laterally on the main beam, combined with the wire rope hoisting system, containers are lifted; the trolley running mechanism drives the entire machine to move along the track, covering large areas of the storage yard.
